INTRODUCED BY BERLIN, GALLAGHER, MISCEVICH, GOODMAN, COWELL,
BURNS, DiCARLO, IRVIS, MANDERINO AND KELLY, FEBRUARY 14, 1977

REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON RULES, FEBRUARY 15, 1977

In the House of Representatives, February 14, 1977

1 An epidemic of measles has broken out in Bucks County and
2 portions of Philadelphia, and more recently in Allegheny County.
3 Many of the stricken had been inoculated against the disease.
4 To insure that inoculation and immunization against the more
5 virulent diseases is effective it is necessary that existing
6 standards and procedures be re-examined; therefore be it
7 RESOLVED, That the Health and Welfare Committee examine the
8 procedures and standards for immunization within the
9 Commonwealth to assure that the residents are protected from
    10 diseases.
