Amend Bill, page 2, line 19, by inserting after "Code"
and section 6501 of the Crimes Code
Amend Bill, page 2, line 20, by inserting after "violation"
of section 3709 of the Vehicle Code
Amend Bill, page 2, line 21, by striking out the period after
"both" and inserting
, and that I may, upon conviction of section 6501 of the
Crimes Code, be fined up to $2,000 and sentenced to
litter pick-up community service or imprisonment for up
to 90 days or both.

Amend Bill, page 3, line 19, by striking out the period after

to 90 days, or both.
Section 2. Within seven days of the effective date of an
amendment to 18 Pa.C.S. ยง 6501(b)(1) that increases the maximum
fine to $2,000, the Secretary of the Commonwealth shall transmit
a notice to the Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in
the next available issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin.

Amend Bill, page 3, line 20, by striking out "in 60 days ONE
YEAR." and inserting
as follows:
(1) Section 2 of this act and this section shall take
effect immediately.
(2) The remainder of this act shall take effect one year
from the publication of the notice in section 2 of this act.
