Amend Bill, page 2, lines 3 through 7, by striking out all of
said lines and inserting
(a) General rule.--
(1) A provider may not impose a fee for early
termination of a service contract if a party to the contract
dies before complete performance of the contract and the
executor or administrator of the decedent's estate provides
notice under subsection (c).
(2) A provider may not impose a fee for early
termination of a service contract if a party to the contract
breaches the contract as a result of permanently moving out
of a high-crime area due to a well-founded fear of the
prevalence of crime in the area.
