Amend Bill, page 1, line 21, by inserting after "providing"
for duties of office and
Amend Bill, page 1, lines 25 through 27, by striking out all
of said lines and inserting
Section 1. Section 604-B(a)(2) of the act of April 9, 1929
(P.L.177, No.175), known as The Administrative Code of 1929, is
amended to read:
Section 604-B. Duties of office.
(a) Mandatory.--The office shall:

(2) By November 15 of each year, provide an assessment
of the State's current fiscal condition and a projection of
what the fiscal condition will be during the next five years.
The assessment shall take into account the state of the
economy, demographics, revenues and expenditures. The
assessment shall separately highlight for the General
Assembly if trends indicate that the General Assembly has not
appropriated sufficient funds to any State agency to pay for
mandated costs the agency is required to pay under Federal or
State law.

Section 2. Section 605-B(e) of the act, amended June 28,
2019 (P.L.101, No.15), is amended to read:
