AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1234

Amend Bill, page 7, by inserting between lines 8 and 9
Section 2. The Secretary of the Budget shall transmit notice
of the repayment of the amount transferred from the Workers'
Compensation Security Fund to the General Fund in accordance
with section 2112 of the act of July 12, 2016 (P.L.1577,
No.16A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 2016 and
section 1734-A.1 of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L.343, No.176),
known as The Fiscal Code, immediately upon the repayment, to the
the Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in the
Pennsylvania Bulletin.
Amend Bill, page 7, line 9, by striking out "immediately."
and inserting
as follows:
(1) The addition of section 301(g)(2) of the act shall
take effect upon publication of the notice under section 2 of
this act.
(2) The remainder of this act shall take effect
immediately.
