6Section 8. Title 66 is amended by adding a section to read:

7§ 1419. Expiration.

8This chapter shall expire January 1, 2020.

9Section 9. Repeals are as follows:

10(1) The General Assembly declares that the repeal under
11paragraph (2) is necessary to effectuate the addition of 66
12Pa.C.S. § 1419.

13(2) Section 5 of the act of November 30, 2004 (P.L.1578,
14No.201), entitled "An act amending Title 66 (Public
15Utilities) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further
16defining 'common carrier by motor vehicle'; providing for
17consumer protection and information and for the protection of
18responsible customer of public utilities; abrogating
19regulations; and preempting local regulation," is repealed.
