| AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1407 |

1 | Amend Bill, page 2, line 8, by inserting after "another" |
2 | ; and prohibiting funding for certain entities |
3 | Amend Bill, page 9, by inserting between lines 14 and 15 |
4 | Section 7.1. The act is amended by adding a section to read: |
5 | Section 1704-E. Funding prohibited. |
6 | (a) Prohibition.--Notwithstanding any other provision of |
7 | law, no funds may be expended on any nonprofit organization that |
8 | meets any of the following: |
9 | (1) Is under indictment for a violation of any Federal |
10 | or State campaign finance law or election law, including |
11 | voter fraud. |
12 | (2) Failed to comply with Federal or State lobbying |
13 | requirements. |
14 | (3) Filed a fraudulent form with any Federal or State |
15 | agency. |
16 | (4) Is the subject of a cease and desist order, or |
17 | similar prohibition, from the Department of State which |
18 | prohibits the solicitation of contributions. |
