7 SUBCHAPTER E
8 MEDICAL CARE AVAILABILITY AND REDUCTION OF ERROR
9 (MCARE) RESERVE ACCOUNT
10 Section 751. Establishment.
11 There is established within the Medical Care Availability and
12 Reduction of Error (Mcare) Fund a special account to be known as
13 the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error (Mcare)
14 Reserve Account.
15 Section 752. Purpose.
16 Money in the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error
17 (Mcare) Reserve Account shall remain in the account for the sole
18 purpose of reducing the unfunded liability of the fund.
19 Amend Sec. 4 (Sec. 1112), page 20, lines 7 through 15, by
20 striking out all of said lines and inserting
21 (c.1) Transfers to the Medical Care Availability and
22 Reduction of Error (Mcare) Reserve Fund.--If the Secretary of
23 the Budget makes a transfer from the account under subsection
24 (c), the remaining funds in the account shall be transferred to
25 the Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error (Mcare)
26 Reserve Fund. If the Secretary of the Budget does not make a
27 transfer from the account under subsection (c), all of the funds
28 in the account shall be transferred to the Medical Care
29 Availability and Reduction of Error (Mcare) Reserve Fund.
