                       AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1511

     1       Amend Sec. 1 (Sec. 6351), page 4, line 26 through 30; page 5,
     2    lines 1 through 4, by striking out all of said lines on said
     3    pages and inserting
     4    held with respect to the child, the court shall do one of the
     5    following:
     6           (1)  Consult with the child regarding the child's
     7       permanency plan in a manner appropriate to the child's age
     8       and maturity.
     9           (2)  Ensure that the views of the child regarding the
    10       permanency plan are ascertained and communicated to the court
    11       by:
    12               (i)  the guardian ad litem of the child;
    13               (ii)  the child's counsel, as appropriate to the
    14           circumstances of the case;
    15               (iii)  the court-appointed special advocate for the
    16           child; or
    17               (iv)  another individual designated by the court.
