                       AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 1202

     1       Amend Sec. 3, page 2, lines 13 through 17, by striking out
     2    all of said lines and inserting
     3       "Bio-based diesel fuel."  A motor vehicle fuel consisting of
     4    biologically derived and petroleum-derived components that:
     5           (1)  Meets the American Society for Testing and Materials
     6       (ASTM) specification D 975 and is intended for use in engines
     7       that are designed to run on conventional, petroleum-derived
     8       diesel fuel.
     9           (2)  Meets the registration requirements for fuels and
    10       fuel additives established by the Environmental Protection
    11       Agency under section 211 of the Clean Air Act (69 Stat. 322,
    12       42 U.S.C. § 7545).
    13           (3)  Contains biologically derived components from one or
    14       more of the following nonpetroleum renewable resources:
    15               (i)  animal fats;
    16               (ii)  vegetable oils;
    17               (iii)  municipal solid waste and sludge;
    18               (iv)  oils derived from wastewater and the treatment
    19           of wastewater; or
    20               (v)  other waste products.
    21           (4)  Is consistent with the terms "renewable fuel," "bio-
    22       diesel" (ASTM D6751 mono-alkyl esters) or "renewable diesel"
    23       as defined in 40 CFR 80.1101(d), (h), (i) and (m) (relating
    24       to definitions).

    25       Amend Sec. 4, page 3, line 9, by striking out "Biodiesel" and
