Amend Bill, page 2, by inserting between lines 23 and 24
"Cost of attendance." The average annual cost for a student
to attend a college or university, including tuition and fees,
room and board, books, supplies and other expenses and is used
to calculate financial aid of an eligible student under Title IV
of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (Public Law 89-329, 20
U.S.C. ยง 1070 et. seq.).
Amend Bill, page 2, line 26, by striking out the period after
"1087nn)" and inserting
, or any subsequent index used to measure how much the
student and the student's family can be expected to contribute
to the cost of the student's education for a given award year
for Federal student aid purposes.
