said lines and inserting
Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in registration of vehicles, further providing for
contributions to Veterans' Trust Fund.
Amend Bill, page 1, lines 6 through 17; page 2, lines 1
through 5; by striking out all of said lines on said pages and
inserting
Section 1. Section 1320(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
§ 1320. Contributions to Veterans' Trust Fund.
(a) Option.--[Within one year of the effective date of this
section, the] The department shall provide for all of the
following:
(1) Ability of an applicant for an original or renewal
driver's license or identification card to make a
contribution of [$3] $5 to the Veterans' Trust Fund.
(2) Ability of an applicant for a renewal vehicle
registration to make a contribution of [$3] $5 to the
Veterans' Trust Fund.
(3) Ability of an applicant for a two-year vehicle
registration to make a contribution of [$6] $10 to the
Veterans' Trust Fund on the department's publicly accessible
Internet website.

Section 2. No later than September 1, 2022, the Department
of Transportation shall implement the amendment of 75 Pa.C.S. §
1320(a).
Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
