Amend Bill, page 1, line 2, by inserting after "Statutes,"
in COVID-19 Disaster Emergency, providing for Emergency
Appropriations for Institutional Care; and,
Amend Bill, page 1, lines 8 and 9, by striking out all of
said lines and inserting
Section 1. Chapter 57 of Title 35 of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subchapter to read:
SUBCHAPTER F
EMERGENCY APPROPRIATIONS FOR INSTITUTIONAL CARE
Sec.
5751. Response to COVID-19 disaster emergency.
ยง 5751. Response to COVID-19 disaster emergency.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the sum of
$200,000,000 is appropriated from money received by the
Commonwealth under the Federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and
Economic Security Act (Public Law 116-136) for the purpose of
making payments on behalf of eligible persons under section
443.1 of the act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31, No.21), known as the
Human Services Code, whose institutional care is prescribed by
physicians.
Section 2. Chapter 78 of Title 35 is amended by adding a
subchapter to read:

$31,000,000 is appropriated
