Amend Bill, page 2, line 19, by striking out "seven-day
supply of" and inserting
single unit of five (5) patches of transdermal
Amend Bill, page 2, by inserting between lines 24 and 25
(c) A pharmacist who receives a prescription for transdermal
fentanyl shall not be required to verify that the documentation
requirements for prescribers under subsection (b) have been met.
The pharmacist shall comply with 21 CFR 1306.04 (relating to
purpose of issue of prescription).
