Amend Bill, page 1, lines 12 through 16, by striking out
"Each candidate for" in line 12, all of lines 13 through 15 and
"the approval of the candidate's political party." in line 16
and inserting
Each candidate for Governor, having been nominated under the
laws of this Commonwealth, shall, subject to the approval of the
political party or political body, if any, nominating such
candidate, select a candidate for Lieutenant Governor within
such time before the gubernatorial general election as the
General Assembly shall prescribe by law.
