Amend Bill, page 2, lines 8 through 10, by striking out "A
council or consortium of" in line 8 and all of lines 9 and 10
and inserting
An intergovernmental agreement creating a council or
consortium of governing bodies or similar entity separate from
the organizing governing bodies may not be entered into unless
by ordinance. A municipality may join an existing
intergovernmental cooperation agreement of other municipalities
whereby such an entity was created, by resolution or by
ordinance.
