AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 280

Amend Bill, page 3, line 5, by striking out all of said line
and inserting
Section 2. The amendment of sections 501(e) and 502 of the
act shall apply to benefit years that begin on or after the
publication of the notice under section 3 of this act.
Section 3. The Secretary of Labor and Industry shall
transmit notice to the Legislative Reference Bureau for
publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin upon completion of
implementation of the technological upgrades to the delivery
system for unemployment compensation benefits.
Section 4. This act shall take effect as follows:
(1) The following shall take effect immediately:
(i) This section.
(ii) Sections 2 and 3 of this act.
(2) The remainder of this act shall take effect upon
publication of the notice under section 3 of this act.
