Amend Bill, page 8, line 5, by striking out "NOT BE SUBJECT
TO" and inserting
qualify as an exemption under section 708 of
Amend Bill, page 8, lines 7 through 30; page 9, lines 1
through 13; by striking out all of lines 7 through 30 on page 8,
all of lines 1 through 12 and "(I)" in line 13 on page 9 and
inserting

Amend Bill, page 9, line 22, by striking out the period after
"ASSISTANT" and inserting
as determined by the fee schedule published by the
department.
(g) Beginning January 1, 2021, for each prescription filled,
a participating pharmacy shall receive reimbursement for drug
cost at a rate no less than the cost of the drug product as
generally available to retail pharmacies, utilizing an average
acquisition cost reimbursement methodology, and after any
pharmacy benefit manager or payer adjustment to that drug cost.
The pharmacy shall also receive a reasonable professional
dispensing fee for each prescription filled as determined by the
department.

"THE TERM" in line 26 and all of lines 27 and 28 and inserting
The term does not include an entity that holds a valid
license from the Insurance Department with accident and health

(2) The act of December 29, 1972 (P.L.1701, No.364),
known as the Health Maintenance Organization Act.
(3) 40 Pa.C.S. Ch. 61 (relating to hospital plan
corporations) or 63 (relating to professional health services
plan corporations).
