AMENDMENTS TO HOUSE BILL NO. 842

Amend Bill, page 4, by inserting between lines 15 and 16
(7) Beginning November 30, 2024, and annually
thereafter, each awarding agency shall submit a report to the
Secretary of the Budget, the Office of Inspector General, the
Department of the Auditor General and the chair and minority
chair of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate and the
chair and minority chair of the Appropriations Committee of
the House of Representatives, containing, at a minimum, the
following information:
(i) Notifications to recipients under paragraph (1),
including the amount of the State grant or loan subject
to repayment.
(ii) Any action or inaction to repay the proceeds of
the State grant or loan under paragraph (2).
(iii) Mitigation efforts undertaken by each awarding
agency to prevent further improper awards.
