Early Career:

State committeeman for Bucks County; Republican Committeeman; Doylestown Borough Council; founding member of John J. McIlhinney Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Division 3; member of Kiwanis, Bucks County Farm Bureau, Republican America, Penn Environmental, Heritage Conservancy.

Pennsylvania Politics:

Pa. House of Representatives 1998-2006; elected to Pa. senate 2006; chair of State Government Committee, Law and Justice Committee; vice-chair of Game and Fisheries Committee; left office November 30, 2018.
