BRYANT, Isaac Clifford, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, 1810 in New Jersey; blacksmith; ironsmith; merchant; United States Patent holder, smelting iron with anthracite (1850); real estate broker; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1853 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1854 term; appointed 2nd assistant clerk, Philadelphia (1855); elected, delegate, State Democratic Convention (1857); died, December 8, 1880 in Washington, District of Columbia; interred, Congressional Cemetery, Washington, District of Columbia.
