JACOBS, Thomas Bull, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, August 15, 1811 in Churchtown, Lancaster County, Pa.; graduated, Dickinson College, 1831; farmer; teacher; sheep and hog breeder; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1845 and 1847; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1846); employed, Philadelphia Custom House (1848-1856); died, January 3, 1888 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oaklands Cemetery, West Goshen Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
