McWILLIAMS, Wallace, a Representative from Washington County; born, December 2, 1775 in Buffalo Township, Washington County, Pa.; general, Pennsylvania Militia; farmer; elected, commissioner, Washington County (1826); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1830-1831 and 1831-1832 terms; elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1835); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1841 term; reelected to the House for the 1842 term; elected, chair, Washington County Temperance Party (1852); died, June 20, 1860 in Buffalo Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
