McKINNEY, Abraham Smith, “Ab,” a Representative from Cumberland County; born, June 12, 1791 in Newburg, Cumberland County, Pa.; tanner; merchant; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1822-1823, 1823-1824 and 1824-1825 terms; reelected to the House for the 1840 and 1841 terms; died, October 28, 1872 in Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois; interred, Springdale Cemetery and Mausoleum, Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois.
