HEGINS, Charles W., a Representative from Northumberland County; born, circa 1814 in Northumberland County, Pa.; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1838-1839 and 1840 terms; clerk, Pennsylvania State Senate; elected, president judge, Court of Common Pleas, Schuylkill County (1851-1862); died, July 2, 1862 in Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
