JONES, Charles D., a Representative from Montgomery County; born, 1809 in Pennsylvania; farmer and grocer; elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1835); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1838-1839 and 1840 terms; died, June of 1849 in Pennsylvania; interred, Germantown Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Germantown (now Philadelphia), Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
