DILWORTH, William, Sr., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, May 20, 1791 in Dilworthtown, Chester County, Pa; served, United States Army (war of 1812); superintendent, municipal bridges and buildings construction, Pittsburgh; partner, Coltart & Dilworth, master builders; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1841 term; proprietor, saw mill; lumber merchant; died, February 18, 1871 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
