WALTER, Frederick J., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, 1829 in Pennsylvania; druggist; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1856 and 1857 terms; elected, school director, 15th Ward, Philadelphia (1860); volunteer firefighter; receiving clerk, Office of Receiver of Taxes, Philadelphia (1870); died, May 5, 1877 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania (defunct); removed to West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
