WEILER, Amos, a Representative from Berks County; born, November 20, 1817 in Berks County, Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1858 term; elected, school director, Longswamp Township; elected, delegate, Democratic State Conventions; prison inspector, Berks County (1869); elected, prothonotary, Berks County (1879-1881); died, July 9, 1901 in Longswamp Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
