LAIRD, Wilson, a Representative from Erie County; born, circa 1825 in Erie County, Pa.; attended, Jefferson College (now Washington & Jefferson College); teacher; attorney-at-law; elected, city alderman, Erie (1852-1853); elected, mayor, Erie (1854-1855, 1857); elected as a Democrat to Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1858; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1859); died, October 11, 1893 in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Erie Cemetery, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
