BISEL, Amos T., a Representative from Northumberland County; born, October 22, 1820 in Pennsylvania; merchant; owner, Bisel, Balliet and Stoughton Commission Merchant Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1860 and 1861 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1862 term; elected, burgess, Lewis Township (1863); elected, delegate, Republican National Convention (1868); died, December 13, 1871 in Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
