(1865); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1873); president, Union National Bank (1878-1891); president, Union County Water Co.; died, April 8, 1891 in Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania.
