MALADY, Regis Rowland, a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Pa., February 9, 1917; graduated, Elizabeth Township High School; attended, The Pennsylvania State University; attended, Allegheny Technical Institute; attended, Leeds & Northrup Technical School; attended, Honeywell Technical School; attended, Foxboro Technical School; attended, Barnes Engineering; supervisor, industrial instrumentation, Copperweld Corporation (45 years); chair, Elizabeth Borough Democratic Committee; elected, council, Elizabeth, Pa. (1957-1965); elected, mayor, Elizabeth (1966-1971); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1968, 1970 and 1972; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House (1974); died, May 1, 1985 in Jefferson Hills, Allegeny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
