(1829-1833); elected, school director, Titusville; elected, council, Titusville; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1861; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1862); farmer; engaged, oil business; silver miner; died, March 12, 1873 in Oil Creek Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Woodlawn Cemetery, Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
