TUTTON, George Steven, a Representative from Columbia, Montour, Sullivan and Wyoming Counties; born, December 25, 1818 in Pitton, Somersetshire, England; lawyer; published musical composer; band leader; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the  1862 term, not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1863 term; died, December 9, 1866 in Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Gravel Hill Cemetery, Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
