RITTER, Harry Kessler, a Representative from Juniata, Snyder and Union Counties; born, February 21, 1830 in Snyder County, Pa.; corporal, Company F, 184th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1864-1865, Civil War); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1862 and 1863 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1864 term; farmer; died, February 13, 1879 in Austin, Case County, Missouri; interred; Austin Cemetery, Austin, Case County, Missouri.
