DAGER, Charles H., a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Ambler, Montgomery County, Pa., May 10, 1927; graduated, Brown Preparatory School; attended, United States Merchant Marine Academy, Ursinus College, 1944-1946; B.S., Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences, 1951; Fort Knox Leadership School, United States Army, 1951; Fort Belvoir Engineer Officers Candidate School, 1952; served, Combat Engineers, United States Army (1953, Korean War); real estate appraiser; owner and operator, Dager Realtor (1959-2006); first chair, Ambler Planning Commission; member, White House Conference on Children and Youth (1960); elected, council, Ambler; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1966; reelected to serve 3 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1974); died, January 26, 2016 in Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
