LEHMAN, Henry C., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, December 7, 1830 in Rohrerstown, Lancaster County, Pa.; farmer; teacher; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1861 and 1862; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1863); chief deputy recorder, Lancaster County; elected, Recorder, Lancaster County (1891-1894); president, Reading, Lancaster and Baltimore Railroad (1891-1898); died, August 22, 1898 in Lincoln Centre, Lincoln County, Kansas; interred, Woodward Hill Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
