CAMP, Samuel, a Representative from Carbon and Lehigh Counties; born, August 23, 1801 in Pennsylvania; storekeeper; farmer; postmaster, United States Postal Service, New Tripoli (1831-1857); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1863 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1864 term; died, May 3, 1882 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Peters Union Church Cemetery, Lynnville, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
