MILLER, John Stewart, a Representative from Huntingdon, Juniata and Mifflin and Counties; born in Homestead, Huntingdon County, Pa., August 31, 1825; hotel proprietor, the Exchange; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1868 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1869 term; elected, commissioner, Huntingdon County (1899-1900); died, October 6, 1907 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
