DONNELLY, James, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, 1817; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1858 term; reelected to the House for the 1860, 1862, 1865 and 1866 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1861 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1863 and 1867 terms; elected, delegate, Pennsylvania State Democratic Convention (1867); police patrolman, Philadelphia; died, November 18, 1895 in Manayunk, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
