CORNMAN, Theodore, a Representative from Cumberland County; born, May 11, 1836 in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pa.; teacher; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1867 and 1868; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1869); agent, fire insurance; lawyer (1870-1896); farmer; proprietor and manager, Vance & Co., maker of doors, blinds and sashes; elected, president, Carlisle school board (1884-1896); unsuccessful campaign, reelection to the House (1894); died, March 6, 1896 in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Graveyard, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
