LOUCKS, David M., a Representative from York County; born, May 14, 1844 in York County, Pa.; attended, York County Academy (now York College of Pennsylvania); attended, Millersville Normal School (now Millersville University of Pennsylvania); teacher (14 years); elected, justice of the peace, Windsor Township (1867-1871); cigar manufacturer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1872 and 1873; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1874); elected justice of the peace, Springfield Township (1880-1885); deputy revenue collector (4 years); died, January 22, 1918 in Springfield Township, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Christ United Methodist Cemetery, Jacobus, York County, Pennsylvania.
