CONRAD, Joseph B., a Representative from Berks County; born, January 22, 1826 in Penn Township, Berks County, Pa.; farmer; buyer and seller of grain; elected, burgess, Bernville; elected, council, Bernville; elected in a Special Election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1875; Sworn-In, February 23, 1875 to serve the remaining 1875 term; reelected to the House in 1875, 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); employed, Witman and Conrad, grain and wheat dealers; died, July 4, 1905 in Bernville, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Haags Cemetery, Bernville, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
