(12 years); engaged, real estate; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1873 and 1874 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1875 term; trustee, Beaver College and Musical Institute (now Arcadia University); manager, Western Pennsylvania Reform School; died, September 27, 1875 in Rochester, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lacock Cemetery, East Rochester, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
