LUSK, Dr. Joseph S., a Representative from Beaver, Butler and Washington Counties; born, June 5, 1826 in Harmony, Butler County, Pa.; attended, Mercer Academy; M.D., Western Reserve College (now Case Western Reserve University), 1850; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1872, 1875 and 1876 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1876 term; died, February 2, 1889 in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, North Side Cemetery, Butler, Butler County, Pennsyvlania.
