WESTBROOK, Lafayette, a Representative from Monroe, Pike and Wayne Counties; born, December 15, 1824 in Delaware, Pike County, Pa.; graduated, Delaware Academy; captain, Company B, 151st Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1862-1863, Civil War); farmer; engaged in lumbering and milling; surveyor; elected, surveyor, Pike County (1850-1856, 1875-1876); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1857, 1858, 1867, 1868, 1877 and 1878 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1879 term; died, January 22, 1908 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania; interred, Stroudsburg Cemetery, Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
