Stone & Company, coal operators; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1876 and 1877; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1878); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania State Senate (1878); elected, Allegheny County Republican Committee; superintendent, coal plant; appointed, chief of police, McKeesport (1897-1899); died, April 13, 1904 in McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
