PALLATT, George Lord, a Representative from Philadelphia County, born, February 20, 1828 in Countesthorpe, County of Leicester, England; attended, Germantown Academy; engaged, woolen goods manufacturing; school director, Philadelphia (1861-1863); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat for the 1875 term; reelected to serve 3 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1879 term;  United States Patent holder, loom (1881); died, July 20, 1903, in the city of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
