IRVINE, Dr. William, a Representative from Butler County; born, February 17, 1828 in Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pa.; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1855; physician; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1877 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1878 term; died, April 6, 1898 in Evans City, Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, Evans City Cemetery, Evans City, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
